About the Concert Ukulele
The Concert Ukulele has a larger body than the smaller, and perhaps more well known Tenor Ukulele, however it’s tuned the same, it has a little larger feel and the tone is just a little “bigger” (It has more midrange resonance, and is usually described as being “more mellow”). It is played exactly the same way as the tiny Tenor models. Some say it has a little more versatility, probably because it has a longer scale length and there’s more room for fingers!
There are many
Ukuleles on the market these days, many of unknown makes and questionable quality.
Here at Beyond Guitars we’ve been impressed with the quality brought to us by Saga Musical instruments for many years. Their Blueridge guitars, Gold star banjos, Regal guitars and Kentucky mandolins are reliably, consistently high quality. And their Mahalo brand Ukuleles are also right in there, with quality at a terrific price. These Ukes are sold around the world to great review for Ukuleles in their price range. That’s what value means!
This Mahalo Concert Ukulele U-320C is made with the same care and quality materials we’ve come to expect. This is a great player right out of the box, and one thing that’s always a challenge with Ukuleles is the intonation, and this Ukulele is set with superb intonation! Plus, it comes equipped with its own attractive gig bag. Here are the features of this model:
Rosewood fingerboard and bridge
nickel/silver frets and abalone position marker dots
Gold plated geared guitar-style tuners
