is specifically made for guitar bodies with the classical shape, including 12 fret resonator guitars and metal body tricone and duolian guitars. This means that the neck joint, where it joins the guitar body is located at the 12th fret. Some guitars are longer, with the neck joint at the 14th fret and these are appropriate for the CD-1514 case you will find on this site. Square neck “dobro” style guitars WILL NOT fit this case.

This is a premium case with a strong plywood core and very deep, plush foam and crushed velvet interior for an excellent shock absorbing layer.
