from Black Diamond string co. that allows you take advantage of nylon strings on any acoustic guitar! Classical guitars do use nylon strings but require the strings to be tied on at the bridge which cannot be done with a standard steel string folk guitar. A set like these would be needed with the ball end for a standard acoustic guitar. Advantages of nylon strings are: less wear on fingers, nylon is softer than steel. 2. easier to press into the fretboard 3. more mellow tone

Installed as you normally would, the ball end makes it possible. This set has clear nylon trebel strings. For a unique look, you might like the black trebel strings of the N168 set shown below.
